Doladira has a similar flavor profile to Aperol but with notes of rosemary and plum in addition to tart rhubarb. It may be a little harder to track down than Aperol, but that’s what makes it a great gift.
Any bottle of an Italian Apertivo must be accompanied by proper spritz barware. I don’t make the rules.
