Name: Rachael Cooper

Organization: Sporting Arkansas Soccer Club

Position: Operations Manager

SportsEngine Tools Utilized: Registration, League Management, Volunteer Management

What she was up against

Sporting Arkansas has more than 450 full-time competitive players and provides services to more than 3,000 athletes through camps and leagues — Cooper needed an intuitive way to collect, input, organize, and share important information and volunteer tasks.

What SportsEngine did to help

Sporting Arkansas Soccer Club chose SportsEngine to equip their staff with league management tools, provide online registration, create a league website and individual team pages, and help organize volunteer tasks.

What the impact was

Life has become much more efficient for Cooper, as she’s made extensive use of the SportsEngine platform.

Cooper quickly became a seasoned-veteran as she was tasked with creating 55 individual team websites using the League tool. League helps administrators organize and manage their entire league through a single platform, allowing them to create individual club pages, manage seasons, post real-time scores and stats, share standings and more.

With so many separate teams, Cooper uses SportsEngine’s mass scoring feature to update scores, standings, and stats. “I pick the scorecards up twice a week, then enter all the scores,” says Cooper. “Mass scoring saves me a lot of time. I’m not sure how I would do it otherwise.”

Sporting Arkansas also uses the Registration and volunteer management (Dibs) tools. Registration allows families and athletes to sign up for seasons, tournaments, and events from any device. Once participants sign up, they can then be easily sorted onto rosters by administrators.

With 55 teams and countless club events, Sporting Arkansas relies heavily on the effort of volunteers. To ensure that every task is covered, Cooper uses the volunteer management tool to keep volunteers organized and connected. SportsEngine’s volunteer management tool moves the entire volunteer registration process online, allowing individuals to select tasks they can complete and giving administrators complete visibility over the entire process.

Cooper has a big job, and with the help of SportsEngine, all her tasks are now streamlined and efficient.
